Gaffney Lane Elementary Celebrates Read Across America!

Today our schools celebrated Read Across America!

Gaffney Lane Elementary celebrated this event in "hygge" style. They invited members of the community to come and share their most loved stories with the students while they cozied up in their pajamas or coziest clothes. Hygge is the Danish term for taking time out of the daily rush of life to be together and enjoy life's quieter pleasures (like reading a good book!).
